The Social Organization

The Social Organization is relatively new theory aiming to describe how organizations andd business will be oriented in the near future. The Social Organization describes comapnies and organizations as combined collective genius of your customers and employees. Social media are another step in online marketing evolution, but seems it is not the last one. As it seems to be going into direction where it will define not only promotion-Mix and marketing campaigns but also how to run the business.

So far we could explisit certain categories/threads which should help modern organizations on their way to success. Core principles:

- Participation
- Collective.
- Transparency.
- Independence
- Persistence
- Emergence

As you can see some of those core principles are replacements, some upgreade of old marketing mix principles. It seems than obvious that together with technological evolution marketing had to evolve too.

As a new study by e-commerce pioneer IBM noted, “The inflection point created by social media represents a permanent change in the nature of customer relationships. [Companies that] successfully harness this new source of insight will be in a strong position to increase revenues
and build new brand value.”
