We could say live is reflecting the sense of who we are.
Bad heart is hidden heart, pure heart is the one hides nothing.
Looking on the news and numbers and accepting what they tell us the truth,
is a way of wiping dust away from the mirror.
We living in illusion that economy and other our creations are rational systems. Where corruption is good business when hidden from publicity.
Whistleblowers are trying to reassure us that we are honest, straightforward, and fundamentally good (as society).
Those who expose corruption are challenging the very nature of who we imagine ourselves to be.

The opposite of a pure heart is one that is divided. Without singleness of purpose it is impure. The double-minded person tries to serve both God and the world system. The apostle James in 4:8 wrote: “Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded.”
Matthew 5:8
So do we really have no choice when it comes to who we are as society? Is it matter of Hobson’s choice (No real choice at all – the only options being to either accept or refuse the offer that is given to you)?
