Predictions for the Internet      

1. More people will use the Internet.

2. The Internet will be more geographically dispersed.

3. The Internet will be a network of things, not computers.

4. The Internet will carry exabytes — perhaps zettabytes — of content.

5. The Internet will be wireless.

6. More services will be in the cloud.

7. The Internet will be greener.

8. Network management will be more automated.

9. The Internet won’t rely on always-on connectivity.

10. The Internet will attract more hackers.

Now some are predicting that Internet of the near future (2050) will leave voice services to move entirely to video messaging. Also social networking will be based on video, rather then typing or voice.  It will replace telephony, standart voice only calls etc. Then it will be operating in 3D technology where reality of virtual world will be even more believable.

So it will look like 3D projected image of cafe, where you can virtualy walk in, and watch video with others and video chat with others.

Issues rising together with future are still privacy and security.
